I'm suggesting making them one and the same - at least during the summer. Good conversation with others interested in LBCs.

Well, I’ll throw one more wrinkle into the mix.

The attendees at the last breakfast voted to move the breakfasts to the *first* Saturday of the month because of several other upcoming conflicts. As such, that would move this month’s breakfast to September 3rd.
Does that solve the problem? Cheers,
Kevin

Sorry had no idea there was a Cars and Coffee scheduled on the 27th. The only thing we knew about and have on the calendar is the MG Club Breakfast which was emailed out by Kevin a month or so ago when it was decided that they were changing from the 3rd Saturday to the 4th Saturday. Was something decided at the July Cars and Coffee about when they were going to be scheduled? If so we were not informed.

For any future events PLEASE send any and all dates to Lambert so we can make sure they are in the calendar, in the newsletter as well as advertised to all members. Thanks and Safety Fast, Kristi

How about if we have the "summer" breakfasts outside in Skippack and the "winter ones inside at Andy's in Consohocken?

Seems we have a conflict.
Noel had suggested a Skippack C&C on Sat the 27th which is the same date as Kevin’s breakfast.
Someone needs to make a decision sooner rather than later.
Thanks

Re: Engine clean up question?
Jeff Detwiler
I grabbed a can of the Foamy Gunk from Auto Zone and gave it a shot. Worked OK. Unfortunately my engine and all is so grimy that I need to treat it again with more time to work in places with a brush. Just too many layers (years) of build up to clean up with one shot. Thanks again.

I use an engine degreasser spray, let it sit a few mins, then wash away. Some are citrus based and the more aggressive are the GUMOUT types v/r

Hi all,
Need a little sage advice. My MG’s engine has gobs of oily spots, dirt and just grime. I know - if it’s leaking - it’s not empty. Whew! We’ll rest assured the oil level is normal. Just need to clean the parts for appearance and possibly locate where I may need to address any leaking sources or issues. So what is the preferred and/or safe way to clean my engine and components in place without cracking something or subjecting parts to excessive moisture and creating a new problem and mess up the current performance? Thanks for your help and advice. Jeff

GT Location Update
Lambert Liebel
For those attending the GT this evening there has been a change due to Phil’s having no power. Please see either FB or Kevin’s information below!
Phil's power is out. We went down to Gypsy Blue in Ambler and they can take us. Park in the Ambler Train Station parking … come down Butler from Phil’s, then make a right on Main St (first light after you cross the railroad tracks). Parking is one block down on right. You don’t have to pay. Gypsy Blue is one block up Butler from Main St. … it’s the old hotel. Cheers, Kevin
