Hello,

I received a quote from Sports Car Tire in Wilmington, Delaware. They gave me a quote of $700 to recondition the 4 wheels and mount new tires. This included making sure the wheels were “true“. They also sandblast and powder coat the wheels. Thank you, Dan Commale

Thanks Mark. I'll take you up on that. After Monday we will be out of town until 9/14. We can coordinate after that.
Worst case, are you going to be at Brits at the Village? Roger

It's not looking very promising for me to make it out to skippack but perhaps at the next breakfast I will bring them.

Jeff,
I and a few others took our wheels to Bonehead performance. The blasted my wheels for a believe $60 each but if you bring it to them or call them they are very helpful and will give you a price per wheel. Also RPM in Morrisville will remove the tires and remount them for $15 each.

I’ve been offered a couple of Rostyle wheels (ref photo). What would be a fair offer?
I am unsure whether they will clean up for a DIY paint job or will they need to be sandblasted and primed (ie. more cost) as to whether they’re worth it.
Has anyone sandblasted a set of wheels recently and what did that cost?
Thanks,

I lost one. They are about $18 on Moss and Abingdon.
BTW, I'll be at Cars and Coffee in Skippack Saturday morning.

Re: Clarification with a couple of PMGC Upcoming Events
Thank you, Kristi! I’ve been totally preoccupied with our little campers up here on Lake Champlain and haven’t had my eye on the MG ball for a couple of weeks. The assist is MUCH appreciated!

Re: Clarification with a couple of PMGC Upcoming Events
Christie, perhaps this will help with tracking club finances. Attached is an example of a spread sheet you can populate with the appropriate expenses and income with the clubs budget information. If you fill in the blanks, the formula should calculate at the bottom of the spreadsheet. If you can start with the current club finances, fill in the blanks and send back to me, I can check to make sure the formulas are calculating correctly, or you can do the same. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Noel

Clarification with a couple of PMGC Upcoming Events
Kristi Liebel
Good Morning all,
You may have noticed that you received 2 calendar emails in regards to upcoming events - the PMGC Cars & Coffee in Skippack as well as the PMGC Monthly Breakfast in Conshohocken. I wanted to reach out to you all with an update and some clarification on these two events specifically. Apparently there was some major confusion on mine and Lambert’s part in that we completely and honestly forgot that the Cars and Coffee had been scheduled as a monthly event when Noel set this all up. When we got the email from Kevin letting us know that the breakfast was changing we just went with it not even realizing that the Cars and Coffee was already scheduled at the same time on the same day. That is totally our fault - had I set up the calendar events I would have realized it right away and there would not have been any confusion, I am so sorry! That all said we have gotten things all worked out and here is the official schedule! PMGC Cars & Coffee at Park Bistro in Skippack (8:00-10:30am) Aug 27th Sept 24th - this is also the same day os the DVCMG Club’s Skippack British Car Show Oct 29th ** Future Dates Forthcoming PMGC Monthly Breakfast at Andy’s Diner in Conshohocken (8:30am) 1st Sat of every month unless notified otherwise If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate. Again I am so sorry about the confusion and frustration this has caused with this mix-up. More and more, people are waiting until they see the weather prediction for day of show . That is no excuse for our club members. We as club members should be supporting the clubs only show of the year. We (Schulte family) are just as guilty in procrastinating. Unfortunately, we have 2 other events that weekend and are trying to coordinate how we will attend. I still don't think we should be panicking.. If it turns out we have a low turn out at the show, like 25-35 cars. Then maybe we re-evaluate having the show in the future on that date etc. This should be a Board and ultimately membership decision. If it is a matter of help in running or preparing the show. Just ask the membership and see if you get some assistance. Good Evening fellow PMGC Members, I hope everyone has been able to enjoy their summers and you all are getting plenty of driving time in. I am not sure if it was missed in my previous email but I have updated and emailed out the 25th Annual Brits at The Village Registration Form earlier this summer as well as it has been attached to the newsletter since it was completed. At this time I have only received 6 registration forms, which kind of surprises and saddens me as I usually have quite a bit more in by this point of the year. If you haven’t gotten your form in and you plan to attend please send me your registration fee along with your form (attached to this email) as soon as possible. To be honest if I don’t see more of an interest in Brits I may be forced to cancel this year and I don’t want to do that. If anyone has any questions, PLEASE let me know!
