Question #1. Do early (mid-60s) Bs have anti-roll bars? If not, does anyone have experience with the difficulty and improvement of adding one to these models?
Question #2. Does anyone have experience with lowering a late model (1978) B. I'm interested to know if it is difficult and worth it?
Happy New Year

Roger , I lowered my '79 using the Moss kit. I think it does handle better and I like the look !

Q1, I added a roll bar to my 75 roadster and it helped but as I understand there are differences in the diameter which result in different handling characteristics.
Q2, Moss sells a kit for lowering. I have not done it but supposedly it does result in improved handling. Just makes getting in and out a bit harder
Also Pete has retired so Sweeney might be your man.

Yes, very much so. At one time I had a 1967 roadster and after Pete lowered my GT it had the handling I remembered from the B.

I can (sort of) answer #2. I had my GT lowered by Pete Cosmides. You could contact him about how easily it can be done. “Safety Fast!”

I hope this email finds you all doing well. For those who did not read through your newsletter or did not get the newsletter - it is that time of year again - that’s right it’s time to renew your PMGC membership for 2023. Attached you will find the 2023 PMGC Renewal form - please be sure to fill out the form even if there are no changes. Remember your membership runs from January to December no matter when you originally joined. That said if you just joined (any time starting in October 2022 until now) then you can disregard this email because when you joined you paid for the rest of 2022 and all of 2023. If you have decided that now is not the right time for you to renew I totally understand, I just ask that you send me an email and let me know.
I would love to have all renewals in by the end of December this year. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me (please reply to me only (kliebel@...) so we don’t fill up everyone’s mailboxes).
I look forward to a wonderful PMGC year!

Kristi
