Dear Sirs, Our committee recently decided that the M.G.would be our honored marquee for the entire 2011activities. I am writing to your club to both inform & open a dialogue reference to your club’s interest in becoming in involved with some of the planning to maximize the event for your members.  First, allow me to give you a brief overview of the history & mission of this event- Created 4 years ago to raise monies & awareness for our “Wounded Warriors & Veterans” around a weekend event around our common passion for automobiles whether racing, rallying, showing or simply cruising.Our stated mission has been to build the event into the largest Veteran’s Focused Event on the East Coast.   This year’s event held at New Jersey Motorsports Park & surrounding areas over Memorial Day Weekend (May 27^th, 28th, &29^th, 2011) will include a “M.G. Only” Car Show & Parking Area, a Special “M.G’s Only” Race (Open to anyone with a current vintage racing license from any recognized sanctioning bodies), an Invitational Concours D’Elegence Show (even though this particular show will be a limited invitation event, we are interested in ensuring it will include a few rare ,unique M.G’s.) Besides the Grand Prix Racing, there will also be a vendor village, a beer garden, a continuous live entertainment stage, a Vintage Military Air Show, & many other family activities plus several unique ceremonies ‘Honoring & Saluting Our Wounded Warriors & Veteran Quests’.  I would appreciate the opportunity of discussing just how we might be able to expand the role for your clubs members & increase their personal enjoyment of the weekend. We have enough time & if we were to work together we might be able to arrange for a M.G’s.Only Host hotel, possibly a ”M.G.
